Mandoki Hospitality: Tropical Storm Nate Update

Tropical Storm Nate Update – Friday, October 6, 2017

Dear Homeowners,

Mandoki Hospitality is continually monitoring information from local, state and federal agencies as Tropical Storm Nate enters the Gulf. The most recent update from the National Weather Service places Fort Morgan within the cone of probability of a Category 1 Hurricane.

As a precautionary measure, we are removing balcony furniture and placing inside units. If you have guests in the unit, we are asking the guests to pull in the furniture on Saturday.

Currently, a mandatory evacuation has not been issued and is not expected. The Gulf Shores bridge onto the island will close if wind speeds exceed 45 MPH. If you have guests checking in on Saturday or Sunday, please keep that in mind.

The MHI staff has had significant first-hand experience with these storms and we’ve learned to make preparations early. Rest assured, we are here working for you.

For the latest updates and advisories on the potential weather situation for Gulf Shores and the surrounding areas monitor local media outlets or the National Weather service at
